לְדָוִד שׇׁפְטֵנִי יְהֹוָה כִּי־אֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי הָלַכְתִּי וּבַיהֹוָה בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אֶמְעָד׃

Of David. Vindicate me, O ETERNAL One, for I have walked without blame; I have trusted in GOD; I have not faltered.

בְּחָנֵנִי יְהֹוָה וְנַסֵּנִי (צרופה) [צׇרְפָה] כִלְיוֹתַי וְלִבִּי׃

Probe me, O ETERNAL One, and try me, test my heart and mind;

3

כִּי־חַסְדְּךָ לְנֶגֶד עֵינָי וְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּךָ׃

for my eyes are on Your steadfast love; I have set my course by it.

4

לֹא־יָשַׁבְתִּי עִם־מְתֵי־שָׁוְא וְעִם נַעֲלָמִים לֹא אָבוֹא׃

I do not consort with scoundrels, or mix with hypocrites;

5

שָׂנֵאתִי קְהַל מְרֵעִים וְעִם־רְשָׁעִים לֹא אֵשֵׁב׃

I detest the company of evildoers, and do not consort with the wicked;

6

אֶרְחַץ בְּנִקָּיוֹן כַּפָּי וַאֲסֹבְבָה אֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָ יְהֹוָה׃

I wash my hands in innocence, and walk around Your altar, O ETERNAL One,

7

לַשְׁמִעַ בְּקוֹל תּוֹדָה וּלְסַפֵּר כׇּל־נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ׃

raising my voice in thanksgiving, and telling all Your wonders.

8

יְהֹוָה אָהַבְתִּי מְעוֹן בֵּיתֶךָ וּמְקוֹם מִשְׁכַּן כְּבוֹדֶךָ׃

O ETERNAL One, I love Your temple abode, the dwelling-place of Your glory.

9

אַל־תֶּאֱסֹף עִם־חַטָּאִים נַפְשִׁי וְעִם־אַנְשֵׁי דָמִים חַיָּי׃

Do not sweep me away with sinners, or [snuff out] my life with murderers,

10

אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶם זִמָּה וִימִינָם מָלְאָה שֹּׁחַד׃

who have schemes at their fingertips, and hands full of bribes.

11

וַאֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי אֵלֵךְ פְּדֵנִי וְחׇנֵּנִי׃

But I walk without blame; redeem me, have mercy on me!

12

רַגְלִי עָמְדָה בְמִישׁוֹר בְּמַקְהֵלִים אֲבָרֵךְ יְהֹוָה׃ {פ}

My feet are on level ground. In assemblies I will bless GOD.
