הַלְלוּ־יָהּ הַלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְהֹוָה הַלְלוּ עַבְדֵי יְהֹוָה׃

Hallelujah. Praise the name of GOD; give praise, you servants of GOD

שֶׁעֹמְדִים בְּבֵית יְהֹוָה בְּחַצְרוֹת בֵּית אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃

who stand in the house of GOD, in the courts of the house of our God.

3

הַלְלוּ־יָהּ כִּי־טוֹב יְהֹוָה זַמְּרוּ לִשְׁמוֹ כִּי נָעִים׃

Praise Yah, for GOD is good; sing hymns to this name, for it is pleasant.

4

כִּי־יַעֲקֹב בָּחַר לוֹ יָהּ יִשְׂרָאֵל לִסְגֻלָּתוֹ׃

For Yah has chosen to keep Jacob close, [treating] Israel as a treasured possession.

5

כִּי אֲנִי יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־גָדוֹל יְהֹוָה וַאֲדֹנֵינוּ מִכׇּל־אֱלֹהִים׃

For I know that GOD is great, that our Sovereign is greater than all gods.

6

כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־חָפֵץ יְהֹוָה עָשָׂה בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ בַּיַּמִּים וְכׇל־תְּהֹמוֹת׃

Whatever GOD desires is done in heaven and earth, in the seas and all the depths.

מַעֲלֶה נְשִׂאִים מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ בְּרָקִים לַמָּטָר עָשָׂה מוֹצֵא־רוּחַ מֵאוֹצְרוֹתָיו׃

This is who makes clouds rise from the end of the earth; who makes lightning for the rain; who releases the wind from divine vaults.

שֶׁהִכָּה בְּכוֹרֵי מִצְרָיִם מֵאָדָם עַד־בְּהֵמָה׃

[God] struck down the first-born of Egypt, human and animal alike—

9

שָׁלַח אוֹתֹת וּמֹפְתִים בְּתוֹכֵכִי מִצְרָיִם בְּפַרְעֹה וּבְכׇל־עֲבָדָיו׃

sending signs and portents against Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants,

10

שֶׁהִכָּה גּוֹיִם רַבִּים וְהָרַג מְלָכִים עֲצוּמִים׃

striking down many nations and slaying numerous kings—

11

לְסִיחוֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי וּלְעוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן וּלְכֹל מַמְלְכוֹת כְּנָעַן׃

Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, and all the royalty of Canaan—

12

וְנָתַן אַרְצָם נַחֲלָה נַחֲלָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל עַמּוֹ׃

and giving their lands as a heritage, as a heritage to Israel—God’s people.

13

יְהֹוָה שִׁמְךָ לְעוֹלָם יְהֹוָה זִכְרְךָ לְדֹר־וָדֹר׃

O ETERNAL One, Your name endures forever, Your fame, O ETERNAL One, through all generations;

14

כִּי־יָדִין יְהֹוָה עַמּוֹ וְעַל־עֲבָדָיו יִתְנֶחָם׃

for GOD will champion this people, and obtain satisfaction for their service.

15

עֲצַבֵּי הַגּוֹיִם כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב מַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵי אָדָם׃

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.

16

פֶּה־לָהֶם וְלֹא יְדַבֵּרוּ עֵינַיִם לָהֶם וְלֹא יִרְאוּ׃

They have mouths, but cannot speak; they have eyes, but cannot see;

17

אׇזְנַיִם לָהֶם וְלֹא יַאֲזִינוּ אַף אֵין־יֶשׁ־רוּחַ בְּפִיהֶם׃

they have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths.

18

כְּמוֹהֶם יִהְיוּ עֹשֵׂיהֶם כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־בֹּטֵחַ בָּהֶם׃

Those who fashion them, all who trust in them, shall become like them.

19

בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה בֵּית אַהֲרֹן בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה׃

O house of Israel, bless GOD; O house of Aaron, bless GOD;

20

בֵּית הַלֵּוִי בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה יִרְאֵי יְהֹוָה בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה׃

O house of Levi, bless GOD; you who fear GOD, bless GOD.

21

בָּרוּךְ יְהֹוָה מִצִּיּוֹן שֹׁכֵן יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם הַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃ {פ}

Blessed is GOD from Zion, the One who dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
