לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד׃

For the leader. A psalm of David.

2

יַעַנְךָ יְהֹוָה בְּיוֹם צָרָה יְשַׂגֶּבְךָ שֵׁם אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב׃

May GOD answer you in time of trouble, the name of Jacob’s God keep you safe—

3

יִשְׁלַח־עֶזְרְךָ מִקֹּדֶשׁ וּמִצִּיּוֹן יִסְעָדֶךָּ׃

sending you help from the sanctuary, and sustaining you from Zion.

4

יִזְכֹּר כׇּל־מִנְחֹתֶךָ וְעוֹלָתְךָ יְדַשְּׁנֶה סֶלָה׃

May [God] receive the tokens of all your grain offerings, and approve your burnt offerings. Selah.

5

יִתֶּן־לְךָ כִלְבָבֶךָ וְכׇל־עֲצָתְךָ יְמַלֵּא׃

May your desire be granted, your every plan fulfilled.

6

נְרַנְּנָה בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ וּבְשֵׁם־אֱלֹהֵינוּ נִדְגֹּל יְמַלֵּא יְהֹוָה כׇּל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶיךָ׃

May we shout for joy in your victory, arrayed by standards in the name of our God. May GOD fulfill your every wish.

עַתָּה יָדַעְתִּי כִּי הוֹשִׁיעַ יְהֹוָה מְשִׁיחוֹ יַעֲנֵהוּ מִשְּׁמֵי קׇדְשׁוֹ בִּגְבֻרוֹת יֵשַׁע יְמִינוֹ׃

Now I know that GOD will give victory to our anointed one, will answer him from the heavenly sanctuary with the mighty victories of God’s right arm.

אֵלֶּה בָרֶכֶב וְאֵלֶּה בַסּוּסִים וַאֲנַחְנוּ בְּשֵׁם־יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ נַזְכִּיר׃

They [call] on chariots, they [call] on horses, but we call on the name of the ETERNAL our God.

הֵמָּה כָּרְעוּ וְנָפָלוּ וַאֲנַחְנוּ קַּמְנוּ וַנִּתְעוֹדָד׃

They collapse and lie fallen, but we rally and gather strength.

10

יְהֹוָה הוֹשִׁיעָה הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיוֹם־קׇרְאֵנוּ׃ {פ}

O ETERNAL One, grant victory to the king; may [God] answer us when we call.
