לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד׃

For the leader. A psalm of David.

2

יְהֹוָה בְּעׇזְּךָ יִשְׂמַח־מֶלֶךְ וּבִישׁוּעָתְךָ מַה־[יָּגֶל] (יגיל) מְאֹד׃

O ETERNAL One, the king rejoices in Your strength; how greatly he exults in Your victory!

תַּאֲוַת לִבּוֹ נָתַתָּה לּוֹ וַאֲרֶשֶׁת שְׂפָתָיו בַּל־מָנַעְתָּ סֶּלָה׃

You have granted him the desire of his heart, have not denied the request of his lips. Selah.

4

כִּי־תְקַדְּמֶנּוּ בִּרְכוֹת טוֹב תָּשִׁית לְרֹאשׁוֹ עֲטֶרֶת פָּז׃

You have proffered him blessings of good things, have set upon his head a crown of fine gold.

חַיִּים שָׁאַל מִמְּךָ נָתַתָּה לּוֹ אֹרֶךְ יָמִים עוֹלָם וָעֶד׃

He asked You for life; You granted it; a long life, everlasting.

גָּדוֹל כְּבוֹדוֹ בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ הוֹד וְהָדָר תְּשַׁוֶּה עָלָיו׃

Great is his glory through Your victory; You have endowed him with splendor and majesty.

7

כִּי־תְשִׁיתֵהוּ בְרָכוֹת לָעַד תְּחַדֵּהוּ בְשִׂמְחָה אֶת־פָּנֶיךָ׃

You have made him blessed forever, gladdened him with the joy of Your presence.

8

כִּי־הַמֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵחַ בַּיהֹוָה וּבְחֶסֶד עֶלְיוֹן בַּל־יִמּוֹט׃

For the king trusts in GOD; through the faithfulness of the Most High he will not be shaken.

9

תִּמְצָא יָדְךָ לְכׇל־אֹיְבֶיךָ יְמִינְךָ תִּמְצָא שֹׂנְאֶיךָ׃

Your hand is equal to all Your enemies; Your right hand overpowers Your foes.

תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ כְּתַנּוּר אֵשׁ לְעֵת פָּנֶיךָ יְהֹוָה בְּאַפּוֹ יְבַלְּעֵם וְתֹאכְלֵם אֵשׁ׃

You set them ablaze like a furnace when You show Your presence. GOD in anger destroys them; fire consumes them.

פִּרְיָמוֹ מֵאֶרֶץ תְּאַבֵּד וְזַרְעָם מִבְּנֵי אָדָם׃

You wipe their offspring from the earth, their issue from among humankind.

12

כִּי־נָטוּ עָלֶיךָ רָעָה חָשְׁבוּ מְזִמָּה בַּל־יוּכָלוּ׃

For they schemed against You; they laid plans, but could not s쳮d.

13

כִּי תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ שֶׁכֶם בְּמֵיתָרֶיךָ תְּכוֹנֵן עַל־פְּנֵיהֶם׃

For You make them turn back by Your bows aimed at their face.

14

רוּמָה יְהֹוָה בְּעֻזֶּךָ נָשִׁירָה וּנְזַמְּרָה גְּבוּרָתֶךָ׃ {פ}

Be exalted, O ETERNAL One, through Your strength; we will sing and chant the praises of Your mighty deeds.
