Daily Tehillim

Day 10 of the Month

In the traditional monthly division

About the monthly cycle

The book of Tehillim (Psalms) contains 150 chapters. Traditionally, the entire book is read once each month, divided across the 30 days of the lunar month. This division allows a person to engage with the full breadth of Tehillim — its prayers, its laments, its praises, its longings — every month of the year.

The division shown here follows the standard siddur arrangement, common to both Sephardic and Ashkenazi traditions. The two longest chapters — Psalm 78 (day 15) and Psalm 119 (split across days 25–26) — anchor the cycle.
